Channel 4 Gogglebox: Gordon Ramsay and Strictly daughter Matilda to appear in Stand Up To Cancer special

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay alongside his daughter, Matilda, are the first celebrities to have been announced for the latest series of Gogglebox.

Matilda, also known as Tilly, appeared on the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing with partner Nikita.

The father daughter duo will appear - matching onesies and sheepskin slippers at the ready - for Channel 4 ’s Stand Up To Cancer special.

The pair are set to return to our screens at 9pm on Friday (October 28) alongside the usual Gogglebox cast.

According to the Mirror, Gordon and Tilly said: “We’re always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up To Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox.

“Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucketloads of money.”

Other celebrities to have been announced for the upcoming episode includes Luke Evans and Charlotte Church.

It comes as Gordon, Gino and Fred are set to reunite for brand-new ITV road trip 'Viva Espana!' Heading to sunny Spain, the award-winning series will return to ITV and ITVX with the boys - scarily - behind the wheel in tehri beloved RV for an epic odyssey across Andalusia and Galicia.

Having successfully ventured to several other destinations in previous series such as France, Italy, Scotland, Morocco, the US, Lapland and Greece, they will now be looking for the best of the best when it comes to the likes of seafood, wine and the all important tapas.

In response to the cast announcement, people flooded to their Instagram and of course couldn't wait.

One said: "Oooh looking forward to this! Used to watch Tilly’s show with my girls when they were younger."

Another added: "She has to roast Gordon. It's hilarious when she does it."

"My mum passed away to cancer 4 years ago, so its definitely a great cause" wrote a third.
