Ulrika Jonsson, 54, began her TV career in 1989 as a weather presenter on Good Morning Britain.
In the same year, she was pictured at a garden party with Prince Edward, sparking rumours of a fling.
Decades later, she told Piers Morgan's Life Stories: "I did not sleep with Prince Edward. There were a few dates, a bit of a slap and tickle."
Jonsson married her first husband cameraman John Turnbull in 1990. They have one child together, Cameron, who is now 27. They divorced in 1995 following Jonsson's reported affair with James Crossley, one of the stars of TV's Gladiators, which she hosted.
“I was the focus of attention when I was unfaithful to my husband in 1995 with Gladiator Hunter, aka James Crossley," she told PA.
“It wasn’t my finest hour, but happily it wasn’t a sackable offence."
In 1998, Jonsson dated footballer Stan Collymore. During the 1998 World Cup, Collymore issued a public apology after he assaulted Jonsson in a Paris bar.
Years later, Jonsson wrote in her column for The Sun: "Bruises and broken bones heal. It's the psychological damage that endures.
"I wish I had drawn attention to the fact that abuse comes in so many forms and not just the physical punishment."
Soon after the end of her relationship with Collymore, Jonsson began dating German hotel manager Marcus Kempen. They have one daughter together, Bo, who is now 21. Jonsson's relationship with Kempen ended soon after the birth.
In 2002, Jonsson confirmed that she had been having an affair with the England football manager Sven-Göran Eriksson, who had a long-term girlfriend.
In the same year, Jonsson met her second husband Lance Gerrard-Wright while filming TV show Mr Right. They began a relationship before marrying in August 2003. They have one daughter together, Martha, who is now 17.
Their marriage ended in October 2006.
By far the longest relationship of Jonsson's life was with her third husband Brian Monet. The pair began dating in 2006
They have one child together, Malcolm, who is now 13. In 2014, Brian also adopted her daughter Bo.
Speaking to Hello! magazine in 2012, Jonsson said of her husband: "He is a jaw-droppingly brilliant father who has the same values of parenthood as I do.
"His patience knows no bounds; his love for our children is unconditional and their love for him completes our family entirely."
Their marriage came to an end in 2019 after 11 years.
Jonsson told Best magazine in 2019: "If I'm honest, getting another divorce aged 51 is not where I thought I would be, so who knows?
"I just don't know what shape my future will take. I can't contemplate dating again. Then again, I've said I will never marry again before, and I did. I've been content being out of the limelight. I haven't craved it but, that said, I do need to live."
In 2019, Jonsson went on the dating show First Dates Hotel and began dating her match on the show, Paul. The relationship did not continue for long.
Now, Jonsson is looking for a match in the latest series of Celebs Go Dating. She says she is looking for someone funny who can '"laugh her into bed".
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I can't bear arrogant, cocky people. But being shy is painful. You want somebody who's confident.
"Funny is so sexy and so brilliant. We all want to be laughed into bed, right?"
Speaking Loose Women panellist Janet Street-Porter in January 2022, Jonsson said that her recent dates have been “a little younger” than her.
She said: “Recent ones, I've only really had dates, I guess, I've not had a relationship with anybody – but the dates have been a little younger, yes.
“They didn't know I was Ulrika Jonsson, which was great."
