Fans of A Place in the Sun bashed a property for being "stuck in the past".
Host Danni Menzies stepped up to the challenge of helping Anne and Ian, from the Scottish Highlands, find their perfect holiday home. They had a budget of £100,000 to spend in Benidorm on Spain’s Costa Blanca.
They hoped for a property close to the beach, bars and restaurants and hoped for an outdoor terrace area and preferably a pool. The couple wanted a two-bedroom apartment and had wiggle room of up to £10,000 over budget if really needed.

But the buyers, as well as viewers at home, weren't impressed with some of the décor styles on offer in sunny Spain. The second property they were shown featured a lot of browns and yellows and was like stepping back in time. It was a two bedroomed hillside apartment and was on the market for £108,000.
Anne and Ian seemed happy with the spaciousness of the property but looking at a burnt orange bed, Anne said: "This is a good size bedroom... apart from the décor. We would need to get that changed."
Speaking to Danni later, she said: "Some of it is quite dated for me." The location also proved to be a problem for the property and with the two issues combined they decided to write the property off.
Fans on Twitter agreed that the property was stuck in the past. John said: "Having last been to Benidorm November 1999 it looks like it’s stuck in the 90’s #APlaceInTheSun".
Buck said: "What is it with Benidorm and 1970's furniture? #aplaceinthesun". Meanwhile, Samantha said: "I wouldn’t be keeping any of that awful furniture!! #APlaceInTheSun".
