Channel 4 A Place in the Sun host given 'final' warning during episode

A Place in the Sun host Leah Charles-King had too much of a challenge on her hands during Thursday's episode.

Terry and Susan love southern Spain so much they've already moved out and are currently renting, but they'd enlisted Channel 4's help in finding them somewhere they could call their own. With a budget of £120,000 they were looking for a three-bedroom property in Mijas Costa.

The couple were also hoping for two bathrooms and a communal pool, and with a beach nearby.

When asked if they had any "wiggle room" on price, they said they could add an extra £10,000 at a push. Leah admitted their low budget may make the search a struggle.

Leah had five chances at winning them over, but things were not off to a great start. Property number one, a two-bedroom apartment on the market for just under £119,000, was dismissed as Terry and Susan felt it was outdated and too small.

Up next a two-bedroom home with one and a half bathrooms was on the market for £129,000. This was an immediate "no", however, as Terry explained he would be soon having knee surgery and so needed somewhere without stairs.

After seeing two more homes, Terry gave a cheeky warning to Leah. She asked if they wanted to see the "fifth and final property".

Terry cheekily replied: "That will do, final chance!". Sadly, the fifth home was also dismissed and Terry and Susan decided to stop looking for a new home until they could save some more money.

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4 and All 4
