Organisers of Liverpool Sound City have announced big changes to this year’s festival after the original event was postponed due to coronavirus.
Sound City 2020 was supposed to take place from May 1 to 3 in venues across the Baltic Triangle, but has now been rescheduled to take place in September.
The rescheduled event will take place from September 25 - 28 with headliners Friendly Fires, Pale Waves and Red Rum Club.
The independent festival will launch on September 24 with a huge opening party at District, which will be headlined by Fickle Friends.

The Sound City + conference will now include a revised programme of events across all three days, as the industry addresses the challenges arising from the Covid-19 lockdown.
Tickets for the original event in May are still valid for the September dates. Further tickets can be bought online now via www.soundcity.uk.com .
If you don’t want to wait for your fill of Sound City artists, the festival’s online streaming service Guest House broadcasts shows every Thursday from 7pm, with artists performing from their homes.
