Championship manager spotted congratulating Jurgen Klopp at Wembley after Liverpool win

Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe was spotted congratulating Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool's Carabao Cup final victory on Sunday.

The Reds secured their first piece of silverware for the season at Wembley as they beat Chelsea 11-10 on penalties after a dramatic 0-0 at the end of 120 minutes.

Liverpool ended a 10 year wait to lift the League Cup as they last won the competition in 2012 under club legend Sir Kenny Dalglish.

Now, Klopp has added a fifth trophy to his collection at Liverpool and many were quick to congratulate the German.

As the team made their way up to the royal box to lift their deserved prize, the cameras captured Lowe shaking hands and celebrating with the Reds boss.

Liverpool faced the Championship side in the early stages of the competition, beating them 2-0 at Deepdale in the fourth round.

Although, Lowe was not in the dugout at the time as Frankie McAvoy was in charge of Preston for the meeting back in October.
