The final matches of the 2023-24 Champions League group stage have taken place.
Group F came to a frantic finish, as Newcastle took the lead but fell to defeat against AC Milan. Victory would have been enough to see them through to the last-16, as Paris Saint-Germain were held to a draw by Borussia Dortmund. Manchester City beat Crvena Zvezda, meanwhile, in a Group G dead-rubber, making it six wins from six.
A showdown between two already qualified teams took place in Spain as Atletico Madrid beat Lazio to finish top of Group E.
Barcelona fell to a shock defeat against Antwerp, but they had already secured top spot in the group due to their head-to-head record against Porto, who had to settle for second despite hammering Shakhtar Donetsk.
Manchester United were dumped out on Tuesday after falling to a rather lifeless 1-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich, with Kingsley Coman scoring the only goal of the game. Copenhagen instead followed Bayern into the knockout stages by beating Galatasaray, who drop into the Europa League from Group A.
Arsenal, meanwhile, finished what has been a successful group stage as Group B winners by drawing away at PSV and the Dutch side follow them into the last-16. From that group, Lens make the Europa League.
Real Madrid came from behind to beat Union Berlin as they march on having won Group C and they will be joined Napoli after the Italian champions defeated Braga. In Group D, Real Sociedad drew away at Inter Milan to finish as winners ahead of last year’s beaten finalists.
