Champions League final pitch invader has swapped streaking for remarkable new career

Kinsey Wolanski threw herself into the public domain when she ran onto the pitch during the 2019 Champions League final.

The pitch invader wore a black swimsuit that had the name of her boyfriend’s adult website on it during Liverpool's clash with Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in the Spanish capital. Her actions reportedly gained her other half £5.8m in online revenue.

Wolanski meanwhile has seen her own profile soar, which has earned her financial rewards as she targets early retirement. She has more than 6.5m followers across Instagram and TikTok, which has helped her bags sums which has allowed her to learn to fly a helicopter as she adds another string to her bow.

The American has posted numerous photos on social media of her flying the rotorcraft, with the education process taking her 18 months to complete.

She wrote on TikTok: "Getting my pilot's licence was one of the most challenging but rewarding things I've ever done. I flew 112 hours before taking my flight check ride exam. You have to pass three exams. Intense written exam, oral exam on the ground and lastly the inflight exam. The entire process took me 1.5 years.”

Wolanski's decision to run onto the pitch four years ago was very much calculated - and looks to have produced the desired results. She said at the time that no one was harmed, but it allowed her global presence to soar.

After being released from a Spanish jail, she said: "By the time I’m 30 I plan on making enough money to retire, and streaking at the Champions League will only help me achieve that. I plan to do a lot more streaking to raise my profile. After I was released from jail I had gone from 300,000 followers on Instagram to over two million. You can’t buy that kind of publicity.

"Suddenly I was famous all over the world and had job offers flooding in. I don’t think I did anyone any harm, it was just a bit of fun."

UEFA will hope to avoid a repeat at the Atatürk Stadium in Istanbul. Manchester City take on Inter Milan in the first European final at the stadium since Liverpool's iconic win over AC Milan in 2005. Authorities in England have made increased efforts to combat pitch invasions, although City were unable to halt one in their final Premier League home game.

Supporters descended onto the Etihad after they beat Chelsea, shortly before they were presented with the league trophy. The FA have launched an investigation into the events after the Manchester outfit were fined and warned about their conduct after similar scenes in May 2022.
