Champions League final: List of banned items from M&S Bank Arena screening

Football fans will be able to watch Liverpool take on Real Madrid at a special screening of the UEFA Champions League Final at the M&S Bank Arena.

The screening, which comes after huge demand from fans, is in association with BT Sport. Fans will be able to see all the action from Paris as Liverpool FC take on Real Madrid for the title on Saturday (May 28). Doors at the M&S Bank Arena will open from 5.30pm and the live broadcast will start from 6pm. Kick off is 8pm.

As with any event, there are some rules you need to follow if attending. This includes what you can and can't bring inside with you.

For instance, fans are discouraged from bringing banners, posters and flags along. The M&S Arena website does say, however: "We may on occasion permit A4 sized posters, providing they do not contain any offensive content as deemed by M&S Bank Arena. However, we reserve the right to confiscate these items should we, or fellow audience members, find them disruptive to the enjoyment of the event."

You can not bring your own food or alcohol into the stadium and "backpacks" are also not allowed. Here is a full list of banned items:

  • Video or Audio Recording Equipment
  • Professional Cameras e.g. a camera with a detachable lens
  • Backpacks/Coolers
  • Packages/Parcels
  • Umbrellas
  • Folding Chairs
  • Food and Drink
  • Glass/Plastic/Metal Bottles or Containers
  • Air Horns
  • Helium Balloons
  • Flags, Flag Sticks, Signs / Banners
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Knives, Firearms, or any other Weapon
  • Fireworks
  • Aerosols
  • Stink Bombs
  • CDs
  • Chains, and Spiked / Studded items of clothing (including Bracelets or Belts)
  • Laser Pens
  • Crash Helmets
  • Masks or any item which covers the face (subject to venue review)
  • Selfie-sticks or similar devices
