Chaitra Navratri 2025: Devotees throng temples across India to celebrate festival with devotion

Devotees offer prayers on Navratri

New Delhi: A large number of devotees flock to various temples across the country to offer prayers to Goddess Durga on the first day of the nine-day festival of Navratri, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

The Chaitra Navratri festival began on Sunday with the morning 'Aarti' being offered at temples in the National Capital. On the first day, Goddess Durga is worshipped in the incarnation of Mata Shailputri.

On the first day today, Shri Aadya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir showed a large number of people gathered to seek blessings from Goddess Durga.
