CFP snubs left fans convinced Michigan should have been left out for sign-stealing

It was evident the sign-stealing scandal wouldn’t keep an undefeated Michigan team out of the College Football Playoff once their ranking continued to rise in the weeks after.

But once the CFP reveal finally happened Sunday and some more than deserving teams were inevitably left out, disappointed fans started picking out the teams they would have left out, and Michigan became an easy target.

Cheating allegations will do that.

Whether they were Florida State fans, Georgia fans, or just anti-Michigan fans, there was no shortage of people wondering how the Wolverines not only made the playoff, but got rewarded with the top seed.
