Cezanne, one of the fastest growing providers of HR and Payroll software for UK and global businesses, today announces the acquisition of Occupop, the Dublin-headquartered recruitment technology business known for its intuitive and sophisticated applicant tracking system.
Cezanne’s comprehensive software suite automates and simplifies every aspect of HR and Payroll: from recruitment and onboarding, HR administration and compliance to absence management, performance reviews, pulse surveys, talent management, and managing in-house payroll.
Occupop’s award-winning recruitment platform, which has earned praise for making the hiring process simple and accessible, will be integrated into Cezanne’s product suite. This integration will enhance Cezanne’s recruitment capabilities, providing customers with an intuitive, end-to-end solution for attracting, managing, and retaining talent.
Simon Noble, CEO of Cezanne, comments, “By bringing Occupop’s technology into our wider product suite, we’re addressing a crucial part of the employee lifecycle – hiring – with a solution that makes recruitment incredibly easy and accessible to everyone.
“Occupop’s well-structured, easy to use recruitment software perfectly complements our long-term vision to be the most loved and trusted HR and Payroll platform in the market. Strengthening our ability to deliver a complete, user-friendly platform that puts the user first.”
The acquisition is Cezanne’s first strategic move since receiving investment from NorthEdge in March 2023 and forms a key part of the company’s ambitious growth plan to provide best-in-class HR and Payroll solutions for its expanding customer base across the UK and Internationally. Occupop co-founders Caroline Gleeson and David Banaghan will join the Cezanne management team to support the continued growth of the combined business.
“Joining forces with Cezanne creates tremendous opportunities for our customers and our team,” said Caroline Gleeson, co-founder of Occupop. “Our shared vision of making HR processes intuitive and accessible made this a natural fit. By integrating with Cezanne’s comprehensive platform, we can offer our customers a seamless experience across the entire employee lifecycle.”
The acquisition follows a hugely successful 2024 for Cezanne, which saw the company deliver strong organic growth through its customer-first approach, product development, and the launch of its in-house payroll platform. The company has also made significant investments in its team, including the promotion of Simon Noble to CEO.
