Japanophiles in Pattaya take note. The "Japan Signature 2022" is taking a roadshow to Central Pattaya in Chon Buri from tomorrow to Aug 28.
Presented by Central Pattana, this is an opportunity to enjoy a range of carefully selected authentic Japanese cuisine with deliciousness guaranteed in the atmosphere of Matsuri, or the Japanese festival of joy.
Expect to indulge in legendary ramen recipes and ready-to-eat dishes cooked by chefs from many restaurants at the Ramen Cafe zone. They include Ichiran ramen from A Ramen, authentic Nagoya-style ramen from HonAji Ramen, and homemade Katsu curry rice from Kuro Kiiro.
There will be Saikoro Wagyu steak imported from various cities in Japan, original yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) of Tenoji recipe from Matsuri, and unagi don (Japanese grilled eel with rice) from Semakutei.
Set to make visitors feel as if they were walking in a Matsuri festival right in the Land of the Rising Sun will be sweet and savoury Japanese street food such as dango (dumpling) and daifuku (filled mochi) from Ganyudo BKK, Taiyaki cake from Baby Castella & Taiyaki, and sugar-coated strawberries on skewers from My Strawberry.
Other attractive dishes will be Takoyaki sprinkled with seaweed and Katsuo from Makindi, Okonomiyaki Takuya (Japanese pizza on skewers) filled with lots of toppings from the restaurant of the same name, Cremia's ice cream made from Japan's fragrant authentic Hokkaido Softkream, and the famous Shiroi Kobito cookies from Jalux Corner.
After Pattaya, the fair will repeat at Central Chanthaburi from Sept 5-11 and seven other shopping malls under Central Pattana throughout the country before it will wrap up at Central Salaya from Nov 5 to Dec 5.
