Centara Grand at CentralWorld kicks off the festive season with a fruit-mixing ceremony

Suthikiati Chirathivat, chairman of Centara Hotels & Resorts, and Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts, were recently spotted at Zing Bakery, Centara Grand at CentralWorld, getting their hands dirty mixing fruit.

Nicolas Loreau, F&B Dirctor of Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Suthikiati Chirathivat, chairman of Centara Hotels & Resorts, and Robert Maurer Loeffler, GM & Corporate Director of Operations (City Hotels Thailand).

The "Christmas Stollen Mixing Ceremony" is one of the traditional rituals that Centara Grand at CentralWorld holds to kickstart the festive season. The bakery was filled with a whiff of freshly-baked German fruitcake, which is noted as a favourite sweet staple to delight in during the holidays. The festive cake sees a melange of fruits, nuts and spices being soaked in brandy. Over the course of 90 days or so, the cakes are infused with the spirit, giving them a moist texture, rich flavour and a little extra kick to make things all the merrier!

As 2023 is around the corner, the hospitality group bids a fond farewell to 2022 in style while gearing up to get everyone in a festive spirit with Christmassy events and festivities.

Look out for stollen bread in December at the Zing Bakery, which also offers a selection of festive hampers and Christmas goodies. Call 02-100-6255.
