Celtics, NBA Twitter react to Boston dropping Game 3 to the Milwaukee Bucks

The Boston Celtics dropped a winnable Game 3 on the road 103-101 to the Milwaukee Bucks after a poor response to the Bucks’ defense and a worse third quarter, falling behind 2-1 in the Eastern Conference semifinals to the defending NAB champions as a result. That All-Star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum shot 0-of-6 from beyond the arc and 4-of-19 overall certainly also had plenty to do with the tough loss, which Boston managed to hang around in until the final moments of the fourth quarter.

Desperation plays and questionable calls put the nail in the coffin of the Celtics’ 14-point comeback that can’t help but leave fans wondering what might have happened had Boston simply stuck with the play that won them Game 2 handily throughout the subsequent contest.

Plenty of fans and analysts both took to social media to air their feelings about Game 3 on Saturday afternoon — let’s take a look at what was said.
