Celtics, NBA Twitter react to Al Horford’s career night, Boston’s improbable Game 4 comeback win vs. Milwaukee

For most of the first three quarters, it looked like the Boston Celtics might want to consider calling a travel agent about a trip to Cancun in their Game 4 matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. With the Bucks’ physical defense bothering Boston and few calls going the Celtics’ way, fouls started to pile up and force key players to sit.

But Boston — and particularly Al Horford — dug deep, with the team’s elder statesman offering up a career night to score a personal playoff high of 30 points, and came on strong in the game’s final frame to win 116-108 in spite of the rough start. The improbable come-from-behind win caught the attention of the national media and NBA fans alike, who took to Twitter to talk about the Celtics tying the East semis up at 2 games apiece.

Let’s take a look at what they had to say on Monday night.
