The Boston Celtics could be inching closer to full strength again with the team’s most recently shared injury report noting that big man Robert Williams III has been upgraded on the report to a “questionable” status after missing Monday’s Game 4 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum with left knee soreness.
That is indeed good news given there was understandable worry regarding the soreness given that was the same knee Timelord had recently had surgery on to repair a torn meniscus close to the end of the 2021-22 NBA season. Celtics head coach Udoka clarified that the absence was expected to be a brief one given the discomfort Williams was feeling was a common side effect of his procedure.
Aside from the Texas A&M product, forward Sam Hauser will remain out for Game 5 at TD Garden on Wednesday night, still on the mend from what is being listed as a “right shoulder instability episode”.
