The Boston Intensive Care Unit iteration of the Hospital Celtics is making an end-of-season appearance mostly in the interests of postseason health, with the team relating that Robert Williams III (Meniscus), Jaylen Brown (knee tendinopathy), Jayson Tatum (knee tendinopathy), and Al Horford (personal reasons) are all to sit against the Toronto Raptors on Monday evening.
Given the news that Williams may miss an extended period of time pending review of his injury, health has become perhaps the most important priority for the remainder of the season, particularly with Boston’s star wings experiencing knee soreness of their own.
The Celtics signed G Leaguer Juwan Morgan to a 10-day deal to help cover the gap in the meantime, with two way forward Matt Ryan also seemingly being called up to help out the team’s depth as well based on a tweet of his.
Jayson Tatum says his own knee soreness a thing to ‘maintain and keep an eye on,’ but ‘nothing extremely to worry about’ https://t.co/EBivZORPrw
