Both the Celtics and Heat waited down to the very last minute before making announcements regarding a pair of injured players.
Miami’s forward Gabe Vincent was considered a game-time decision heading into Saturday’s Game 6, dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Game 4, which held him out of Game 5.
Ahead of tip-off, Vincent told TNT that he wants to play. This marks his return to the team following a brief one-game absence.
As for Boston, guard Malcolm Brogdon was considered questionable for Game 6. The league’s Sixth Man of the Year reportedly suffered an injury in Game 1 of the series but has played through it in limited minutes.
The Celtics ruled Brogdon out for the contest, citing his injured forearm.
