The Boston Celtics came into their Friday night road game against the New Orleans Pelicans with an NBA-best eight-game winning streak, hoping to push it to nine by breaking a three-game streak of the Pels.
And, like clockwork, the Celtics did exactly that, smacking down every attempt by the Pels to mount a comeback with a barrage of 3-point shooting. The nearly wire-to-wire win was powered by the team’s starters, with all five scoring in double figures. Jaylen Brown led Boston with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists in one of his most complete games yet this season, with Derrick White adding 26 points, and Jayson Tatum 19 points, 7 boards, and 10 assists.
Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ 16th game of their 2022-23 campaign.
Which trends are real? Which ones are concerning? And what about Boston’s peers around the league who will be coming for the Celtics this season? https://t.co/NirEntzzJn
