Celtics are ‘mentally and physically refreshed’ heading into the stretch run, per coach Ime Udoka

After a much-needed break courtesy of the 2022 NBA All-Star Game to heal and integrate new players, the Boston Celtics will soon be back on the court to face the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday evening and got in a practice to prepare for it on Wednesday morning.

Speaking with the media for the first time since the start of All-Star week, Celtics head coach shed some light on where the team was at after the break, which the Portland native shared that his squad had returned to action with an edge after time to get their bodies and minds right.

Asked specifically what the mental state of the team was after the long layover, Udoka replied “Mentally and physically refreshed.”
