Former Boston Celtics big man Juancho Hernangomez helped his Spanish National Team defeat the Montenegrin National Team 82-65 while coming off of the bench, with Spain now improving to a leading 3-1 overall record in Group A EuroBasket play.
The star of the Netflix “Hustle” film put up 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in a reserve role, his shooting unusually bad so far in FIBA play with “Bo Cruz” hitting just 2-of-7 from the field overall, making up for it from deep by hitting 2-of-5 attempts from 3 but not getting to the free throw line at all in the win.
Hernangomez picked up 2 personal fouls and turned the ball over once in one of his less efficient outings in the EuroBasket so far.
