Celtics alum Guerschon Yabusele powers 95-54 French drubbing of Poland in EuroBasket

In the knockout round of the 2022 European Basketball Championship (better known as the EuroBasket), Boston Celtics big man alum Guerschon Yabusele led an absolute shellacking of Poland for France. The French National Team crushed the Polish National Team 95-54 behind the Dancing Bear’s 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals on white-hot 9-of-12 shooting overall and 4-of-6 efficiency from beyond the arc.

Fellow Boston alum Evan Fournier added another 10 points, 4 boards, as many assists, and a steal in the victory for France, and former Celtics center Vincent Poirier chipped in another 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists to secure the victory and a spot in the gold medal game for their EuroBasket squad.

“The goal has always been the gold medal,” said teammate and Minnesota Timberwolves star bog man Rudy Gobert after the game via Eurohoops’ John Rammas. “One more game to go.”
