Another Hotline of referee conspiracy theories and Old Firm tit-for-tat as the Premiership title race starts to come to boiling point.
Two controversial calls in Celtic's win over Livingston only fuelled a belief within some Rangers fans that the whistlers are wanting green and white ribbons on the trophy this season.
John Bruce emailed: "Ever since Ian Bankier called out Scottish referees at the Celtic AGM, the number of wrong refereeing decisions that have gone Celtic's way to either win them the match or prevent the opposing team from drawing is now becoming almost a weekly occurrence.
"These wrong calls have happened in games against Aberdeen, Motherwell, Dundee United, Hibs, two games against Hearts and two against St Johnstone, quite a points haul. It has also won them a cup. No wonder Celtic and their fans are so silent on VAR."
Rab Hunter, Dumfries, said: " Celtic have been gifted six points from their three recent one-goal victories, all achieved from off-side positions, none of which should have required VAR, simply competent officials. Six points will likely be sufficient to decide the league and it is quite sad the winners will once again be decided by the SFA rather than the teams on the park."
Chris Lowe, Yoker, said: "For a team who’ve spent the last 20 years moaning about referees, not to be at the forefront demanding VAR, tells its own story. Celtic are happy with the status quo as nothing ever goes against them."
Gordon Ashley, Ayr, said: "The real reason Rangers fans are so scared and paranoid this year is because they are no longer being handed league titles by referees. I remember previous seasons where all four Glasgow derby games were influenced in their favour by wrong decisions, but referee scrutiny makes that no longer possible and their fans can’t take it. "
John Jacob, emailed: "All these pundits jumping on the bandwagon about Celtic's goals against Livingston should also admit the Rangers goal against Aberdeen shouldn't have counted. It was a foul on the Aberdeen defender and I'm getting pretty tired of the Rangers pundits and their negativity. They should concentrate on their own team's performance. Celtic do their talking on the pitch and certain people can point out things but do you know what it won't change? The fact we are still top of the league, which it all boils down to."
Chris McMenemy, Falkirk, said: "I'd like to ask Hotline caller Robert Frew of Glasgow to name just one penalty that Rangers have been given, that VAR would've ruled out, let alone half, as he claims."
Stuart McLeod, Stepps, said: "Does Scottish football just have to accept poor refereeing decisions now that Celtic are getting the lions share of them? Contrast these opinions to before Christmas where the Hotline was flooded with complaints from Celtic fans and a very public attack on officiating from the Celtic board. You can't have it both ways. If the referees are getting it wrong it doesn't stop when your team is now the beneficiary."
Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: "Just a few months ago they were wanting a statue of Dave King erected at Ibrox. How it all changes so fast. The man who put Rangers back together again wasn’t even offered a seat in the directors’ box for the Aberdeen game.
"I have spoken many times on here about King and not always very favourable but surely he deserves better than this.
"A lot of criticism is heading towards The Blue Room as the natives are getting restless. All hell will break loose if the unthinkable happens and Celtic win the league after being so far behind Rangers."
Robert McKewan, Glasgow, said: "John Hartson's article in Record Sport was brilliant and very fair assessment on Ange Postecoglou 's tenure so far. I hope John's right and the title doesn't come down to a mistake by a referee."
Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, said: "I hope the Celtic Supporters are looking forward to Dragons Den and The Apprentice on Thursday Night. Enjoy, after failing in all the European tournaments this year it should be a welcome rest."
