Celtic want to get 'bigger and better' vows Greg Taylor as Hoops look to progress once again next year

Greg Taylor says newly-crowned champions Celtic want to get 'bigger and better'.

The Hoops reclaimed the Scottish Premiership title for rivals Rangers after an excellent debut campaign for boss Ange Postecoglou.

The Aussie gaffer has had major success in the transfer market to date with the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Joe Hart, Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Reo Hatate.

His first season at the Celtic helm ended in a league and domestic cup double.

But Taylor says another summer of new additions will help push the current crop on again as they bid for another successful campaign next year.

The Scotland international says the Hoops, who will play in the Champions League proper next season, are a good team but they want to become a GREAT one.

He said: “I think we need that. We can’t rest on what we have achieved so far.

“We have had a successful season, winning the double, but we need to progress next year.

"We want to be bigger and better and I think by bringing bodies that pushes everyone on again.

“It has been a new way of playing, but it has been one I’ve enjoyed learning. I continue to try and learn from it because we know as a team we are not the finished article yet.

“We are a good team. But we want to become a great one.

“Hopefully, over the next few months, we can do that.”
