Celtic vs Rangers top billing in Scottish Cup semi-final as Hearts and Hibs make up final four

Celtic will take on Rangers in one half of this season's Scottish Cup semi-finals.

The Glasgow giants were drawn against each other earlier this evening following the last quarter-final of the round featuring Dundee United and the Hoops at Tannadice.

The Hoops breezed past Dundee United 3-0 thanks to a Giorgos Giakoumakis double and a strike from Callum McGregor.

Gers, meanwhile, saw off Dundee at Dens Park thanks to goals from Connor Goldson, James Tavernier and Fashion Sakala.

It means Ange Postecoglou's troops and Gio van Bronckhorst's charges will do battle on the weekend of April 16/17 and will be broadcast live on Premier Sports.

Celts were pulled out the hat first meaning, technically, they'll play the part of the home side while the Light Blues will be in the away changing room at Hampden.

Meanwhile, in the other semi, another derby takes place with Hearts squaring off against Hibs,

Robbie Neilson's Jambos dispatched of St Mirren at Tynecastle 4-2 to book their ticket into the semi while Hibs managed a 2-1 away win over Motherwell at Fir Park last weekend.

Still Game star Greg Hemphill was the man who pulled the names out the hat during the draw.
