Celtic vs Livingston gets pay-per-view treatment as supporters handed Parkhead live stream boost

Celtic fans have been given some early Christmas cheer as the club announced next week's clash with Livingston will get the pay-per-view treatment.

Ange Postecoglou's men return to action this Saturday following the World Cup winter shutdown with a trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen before David Martindale brings his Lions to Glasgow for a midweek battle under the lights. Both sets of players will run out onto the turf in the east end to be met by a full-house with the game already sold-out.

But fans who didn't manage to grab tickets will be able to watch from the warmth and comfort of their homes with Celtic announcing that supporters inside the UK and Ireland will be able to purchase a live stream of the game for £12.99. That will include the pre-match build-up, live match action and half-time plus full-time analysis of the match. The champions ran out 3-0 winners in the last meeting between the pair back in October with Kyogo, Greg Taylor and Jota all on target for the Hoops.

A club statement reads: "It’s a return to Paradise for the Celts on Wednesday, December 21 (KO 7:45pm) as they face Livingston in the cinch Premiership, and a packed Paradise awaits with the Bhoys’ first match at Celtic Park following the winter break already a sell-out!

"But you don’t need to miss a minute of the action with StreamDigital’s pay-per-view service giving fans the chance to tune in from the comfort of home

"The Hoops ran out 3-0 winners at the Tony Macaroni stadium in October when the side last met thanks to goals from Kyogo, Greg Taylor and Jota, and the Celts will be hoping to secure the points once again as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

"For £12.99, you can tune in for all the build-up, live match action and half-time and full-time analysis, LIVE from Celtic Park next Wednesday night."
