Celtic vs Dundee Utd: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time & team news

Celtic host Dundee United at Celtic Park tonight (Wednesday, January 8).

Brendan Rodgers' side will be looking to maintain their outstanding domestic form this season in a match that could them extend their lead over Rangers at the summit of the Scottish Premiership to 16 points with a midweek victory.

Rangers will have the chance to cut that gap when they play next on Thursday.

The Celtic manager was happy enough with his side's 3-0 victory over St Mirren, with Nicolas Kuhn grabbing a double and Auston Trusty adding the other.

Dundee United have enjoyed a brilliant first season back in the top-flight to date, with Jim Goodwin's men sitting third in the table.

They lost at home to Hearts at the weekend, so will be looking to ensure it's not back-to-back defeats.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of this one...

When is Celtic vs Dundee United?

Celtic will welcome Dundee United to Glasgow on Wednesday, January 8.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 7.45pm.

The match will be played at Celtic Park, Glasgow.

Is Celtic vs Dundee United on TV and can I live stream it?

No, sadly this game has not been selected for live television coverage by either Sky Sports or Premier Sports.

International subscribers to Celtic TV will be able to live stream the game as normal.

Live audio is only available to UK subscribers of the channel, with coverage beginning at 6.45pm - an hour before kick-off.

However, in a good-will gesture, Celtic have slashed the price of a pay-per-view pass for their match against Dundee United.

The Parkhead club have cut the fee in half ahead of the Scottish Premiership tie as a goodwill gesture after a power cut caused problems with the PPV coverage of the win over St Mirren.

The 50 per cent discount will mean a pass will only cost £5.99 for Wednesday night's match, or £4.99 for Celtic TV subscribers within the UK & Ireland.

Team news

Rodgers will provide a full fitness update of his squad when he speaks to the media to preview this match.

What we do know already is that James Forrest will be out, while Odin Thiago Holm is a long-term absentee.

It's not yet known if there is any fresh injury news for the visitors.
