Celtic v St Mirren: TV channel, live stream, kick off time, referee and score prediction for Premiership clash

After a couple of weeks of Europa League and Premier Sports Cup action, it's back to the bread and butter of the Premiership this weekend.

Celtic host St Mirren and Ange Postecoglou's men will hope to make it two wins from three in the league after defeating Dundee 6-0 last time out.

The opening day defeat to Hearts is now well in the past but there are still some defensive issues the Hoops need to sort out moving forward.

Kyogo Furuhashi has scored plenty already this season and will hope to keep it up against a St Mirren side who will be without their manager with Jim Goodwin testing positive for Covid-19.

And here's all you need to know about the match.

Where and when is the game taking place?

The match is at Celtic Park on Saturday, August 21.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Is it on TV?

No, the game has not been picked for TV by Sky Sports.

Will there be a live stream?

No. There's no chance for Celtic or St Mirren fans who aren't season tickets to be able to show the game within the UK. It is being shown on CelticTV to fans outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Who is the referee?

Willie Collum is the man in the middle for this game.

He’s assisted by Graeme Leslie and Gordon Crawford, with Greg Aitken the fourth official.

Collum has reffed seven games so far this season and handed out 20 yellow cards and a red.

He’s yet to take charge of Celtic this season, but did ref St Mirren’s 3-0 win over Dumbarton in the Premier Sports Cup group stage.

Prediction

Celtic have been in tremendous form in domestic football over the last couple and deserve all the credit going their way.

You'd expect Kyogo Furuhashi to be in top form again and although St Mirren won at Celtic Park last year, they might find it a bit tougher this time around.

Prediction: Celtic 3 St Mirren 0
