Celtic kid Owen Moffat looks set to depart the club on a permanent deal, according to a report.
English Championship outfit Blackpool are believed to be in transfer discussions with the Hoops over a move to take the 20-year-old on a full-time basis. Michael Appleton is keen to land the young winger - who is contracted at Parkhead until 2024.
Moffat made his top team debut last year against Ross County but has struggled to maintain a regular first-team spot under Ange Postecoglou with the Celtic boss boasting huge riches in the wide areas with the likes of Jota, who signed a permanent deal from Benfica after his hugely successful loan period, James Forrest, Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda.
B team action has been a regular feature for the youngster but with so many options at the disposal of the Aussie boss in the top team set up, he knows the pathway is unlikely to open any time soon and a move down south could now be on the cards, report the Daily Record.
The Seasiders have made a decent start to their new season in England's second tier with two wins, one draw and two defeats from the opening five games. That leaves them sitting 11th, just one point outside the play-offs at this very early stage.
Blackpool are back in action tomorrow as they face Bristol City at home before they welcome Blackburn Rovers next week.
