Celtic transfer state of play on Jota, Jeahze, Itakura and Boulbina

Celtic are close to confirming Jota ’s permanent arrival from Benfica.

The club are set to take up their £6million option to buy and Postecoglou himself said at the end of the season to expect a quick resolution and it's one he certainly appeared relaxed about.

Our man Scott Burns was quizzed by fans on if everything was going smoothly with the deal. and he responded on Twitter that there have been "no issues" with the transfer.

Mohanad Jeahze

Troyes are the latest club to be linked with a move for Mohanad Jeahze.

The Iran international was tipped for a £2m move to Celtic from Hammarby as Ange Postecoglou looks to add depth at left-back.

But Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt report that scouts representing the Ligue 1 side were in the stands for the clash with Malmo on Thursday.

Ko Itakura

Ko Itakura looks to have no shortage of options this summer as he looks to leave Manchester City.

Schalke have turned down the options of taking up an option to buy following his loan last season, with Celtic, Fulham and Bournemouth reportedly waiting in the wings.

However, he could yet remain in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach reportedly eyeing a move.

Japanese outlet Sponichi claim the Bundesliga side are ready to ramp up their interest.

Adil Boulbina

The 19-year-old has reportedly been on the Celtic scouting radar during the international break.

The winger has enjoyed his breakthrough in the Algreian top flight with Paradou AC, netting three goals and assisting in three more this term.

DZ Foot report that Celtic were represented in the stands during Algeria's under-23 internationals.

French sides Lille and Angers were also noted to be watching the progress of Boulbina.
