Celtic target Robert Gumny is reportedly the subject of a move from Fiorentina.
But the Serie A’s side package is set to fail, with the terms not likely to be accepted by Lech Poznan.
Fiorentina are said to be tabling a bid of €5million plus Brazilian defender Gilberto for the right-back.
But it’s understood the Polish side want a bigger fee and are not interested in a player-exchange deal.
The figures quoted for Gumny have been £6-7m.
Although Celtic have already signed a right-back, they are in the market for another one and Gumny is believed to on the club’s list of potential transfer targets.

Neil Lennon is also desperate to sign another left-back. Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo was captured in a £3m deal from Rapid Vienna but the defender was left out of Lennon’s starting team in the Celtic Park horror show against Cluj on Tuesday night.
Despite the Champions League blow when the Hoops missed out on a £35million jackpot, the manager still hopes to be given major funds to reinvest into his squad – with a midfielder, striker and goalkeeper all potentially needed.
Celtic have spent £16m in this window but raised £25m from the sale of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal.
