Kris Commons has warned Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis over Parkhead exits and says they will learn there is 'nothing like Celtic' after they go.
The Hoops duo - signed by Ange Postecoglou last summer - have both had an excellent 18 months in Glasgow's east end but could be heading for the exit door. It is believed talks over new contracts stalled and January moves could now take place. Both joined for fees in the region of £2.5million with the Scottish champions set to bank profit.
But Commons hopes the duo are leaving for the right reasons as he shared stories of Joe Ledley and Kelvin Wilson's exits. Midfielder Ledley walked out of Lennoxtown 'in tears' after his departure for Crystal Palace while Wilson was homesick and missing family south of the border. He would reflect on his decision later on and admit he made a 'mistake' in leaving Celtic.

In his Daily Mail column, Commons wrote: "Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis look as if they're heading for the Celtic exit. I just hope they're going for the right reasons.
"The day he left Celtic, Joe Ledley walked out of Lennoxtown in tears. He didn't want to leave to move to Crystal Palace, he was almost forced into it.
"Moving to Glasgow was a big deal for Kelvin Wilson. He got homesick for Nottingham when he was playing in Preston. But then he was playing in the Champions League against Barcelona and playing in the Europa League and winning titles.
"Kelvin had a young child down in Nottingham and eventually he went back to Nottingham Forest. But he didn't realise how big it was until he was gone.
"I remember him saying: 'I think I've made a mistake. There is nothing like Celtic.' The trouble is that, once you've gone, you've gone."
