Celtic team news v Ross County confirmed as Juranovic missing with Maeda handed Parkhead chance

Celtic have named their starting XI that will take on Ross County in their Premiership match this afternoon.

The Hoops are looking to ensure that their lead at the top of the league is a minimum of seven points heading into the month-long World Cup break, which comes into place after this matchday. Manager Ange Postecoglou has made a habit of rotating his team amid a testing run of matches and does so again here.

Jota, Josip Juranovic - who's out of the squad entirely - and Greg Taylor are among those to drop out from the victory at Motherwell on Wednesday while players such as Anthony Ralston, Daizen Maeda and David Turnbull come in. Celtic midfielder Aaron Mooy is heading to the major tournament in Qatar with Graham Arnold's Australia side after this one at Parkhead and said ahead of it: "We’ve had a very busy schedule with so many games recently and we’ve just been focusing on the games one by one. The last one of this stage against Ross County, so we’re focusing on that.
