Long-term Celtic transfer target Mathias Kvistgaarden has broken his cover after a January move to Glasgow failed to transpire.
The striker was widely linked with a switch to Parkhead after Kyogo Furuhashi's mid-season departure, although nothing came to fruition.
Kvistgaarden has been in fine fettle this season for Brondby and marked his first appearance since Danish football's lengthy winter break with a goal in a 4-1 win for his side over Viborg last night.

Speaking after the triumph, the 22-year-old outlined how content he is at his current club: "I am happy here and to score so quickly after the league started," he said (RecordSport).
"But a quick goal in both halves we should be incredibly happy about.
"I think we showed the aggressiveness we want to play with. There were periods in the first half where it could have been better. We have to look at that."
It remains to be seen whether Celtic will return to the negotiating table in the summer to try and temp Kvistgaarden to Glasgow's east end once again.
Manager Brendan Rodgers was consistent in his desire to sign a striker in January after Furuhashi's mid-season move to Rennes.
While nothing materialised, he will be relatively happy with the current predicament of his team going into the final few months of the campaign.
