Celtic starting team news vs Livingston as Ange Postecoglou names Aaron Mooy on bench

Celtic will be looking to continue their relentless charge at the top of the Premiership when they host Livingston.

Ange Postecoglou's men hold a nine point lead over nearest challengers Rangers as they bid to land back to back league titles. They go into this one off the back of a 2-0 success at Dundee United l ast time out but face a Lions side on an unbeaten run of their own after a goalless draw with Hearts at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday.

David Martindale's side are flying high in fourth and will be out to cause a major upset at Parkhead this evening. The Hoops have only lost one game so far this season at St Mirren with their only other dropped points coming against Michael Beale's men at Ibrox. The pair have met twice this campaign so far with the league leaders coming out on top twice. They picked up a 2-1 win at home while it was a convincing 3-0 win on the road.

Speaking ahead of welcoming Livingston to Glasgow, Postecoglou said: “It’s a tough game and a tough challenge. When you play Livingston it’s always a good challenge, they’re in good form and they’re having an outstanding season.

“David’s got them up and about in terms of really competing in every game, and they’re in a great position in the table.

“They just missed out on the top six last year and I’m sure their goal this year is to stay in there and potentially get European football. So they’ll be highly-motivated and will be a great challenge for us.

’But at the same time, we’ve been in good form for a long time now and very consistent in performances and results.’

“At home we’ve just got to make sure that again we play our football and dominate the areas we want to, and the result will take care of itself.”

Celtic XI: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate, O'Riley, Jota, Maeda, Kyogo

Subs: Bain, Haksabanovic, Abada, Mooy, Turnbull, Kobayashi, Oh, Iwata, Forrest
