Celtic star Kyogo on Tottenham links with mind only on one thing amid Ange Postecoglou reunion chat

Kyogo Furuhashi has refused to be drawn on speculation over Tottenham.

The Celtic star man enjoyed a stunning campaign for Ange Postecoglou last season at Parkhead netting 34 goals on the way to securing a domestic Treble. The Japan international also landed a host of personal accolades on offer. He's netted a whopping 54 goals in two seasons and with the man who brought him to Scotland now in the English Premier League talk has been swirling over a potential reunion in North London.

Kyogo was back at former club Vissel Kobe with Celtic team-mate Yuki Kobayashi and took part in a training session as he went to see good pal Andres Iniesta. He has struck up a special bond with the Barcelona icon, who he credits for helping him become an instant hit in Glasgow. The midfielder, now 39, has won the lot in both club football and on the international scene with Spain. He's set to depart Vissel Kobe with the Celtic hitman hoping he will sign off with a win - and he will be in attendance so see it.

But the 28-year-old was in no mood to discuss his future and swerved questions over Tottenham and a possible reunion with Postecoglou.

He said via the Daily Record: "No comment. The future will bring what the future brings. I am only thinking about doing my best for the club I belong to now. It was great to see Andres.

"I said to him that it had been a long time since I had seen him and the rest of the conversation is a secret! He is the man who gave me the confidence to play football.

"He taught me many other things, such as how to play the game and to have belief in myself and because of him, I went to Celtic and achieved results. I hope to improve my technique and grow even more.

"I want Andres to enjoy it until his final match. I think a lot of people will want to send him off in a good way. Hopefully, his last match will be a win for Kobe. I will be there to see it myself."
