Celtic star Kyogo named Premiership's August player of the month

KYOGO Furuhashi has completed a treble of individual awards for Celtic in the first month of the season after being voted cinch Premiership Player of the Month for August.

The Japanese forward had a steller month, scoring in all four of the champions' SPFL games in August including a hat-trick in the 9-0 demolition of Dundee United at Tannadice.

He was also on target in the wins over Ross County, Kilmarnock and Hearts in Celtic's unblemished start to the campaign.

Team-mate Jota won the cinch Goal of the Month award and manager Ange Postecoglou was named Glen's Manager of the Month for August.
