Kyogo Furuhashi has been paraded in front of supporters at former club Vissel Kobe as he prepares to make his Celtic return ahead of pre-season.
The Japanese international is enjoying some downtime after a successful first campaign in Glasgow following his transfer to Europe last summer. Despite injury disrupting the second half of his term, he did enough to net 20 times in all competitions, winning both Premiership and League Cup trophies.
Ahead of their J1 League match against Urawa Reds, Vissel brought the 27-year-old out in front of excited home fans.
His former side lost the match 1-0 in what has been a difficult campaign. They are currently marooned at the bottom of the league, six points from their nearest competitors in the 18-team league. Kyogo also took part in a training session with his former teammates on Friday that include Barcelona legend Andreas Iniesta. Now his focus will return to Parkhead.

He has been enjoying some time off back home but in the background at Celtic Park, boss Ange Postecoglou has been working on bringing in more recruits after title glory in his first season in charge.
A new challenge awaits as well in the Champions League group stages, with goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist and defender Cameron Carter-Vickers confirmed as arrivals so far.
Left-back Alexandro Bernabei and winger Jota are also expected to complete moves ahead of the new campaign beginning shortly.
