Cameron Carter-Vickers has been hailed as a 'real warrior' and is the type of character that would 'run through brick walls for you'.
The Celtic star has been playing through the pain barrier for Ange Postecoglou's side with his club boss confirming his season is now over to rectify an issue. He was solid for the Scottish champions as they ended Rangers' hopes of lifting silverware this season with Jota grabbing the winner against Michael Beale's men at Hampden.
The Hoops are on course to win a domestic Treble, but the USA international won't play a part in the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness, a decision that came as a shock to former Light Blues defender and pundit Alan Hutton. But he was full of praise for the former Spurs. He told Football Insider: “I think you need those sorts of characters in your team, guys that would run through brick walls for you.

“It is difficult to come across nowadays and Carter-Vickers definitely fits that mould. He has been outstanding since he has come to Celtic and he is a real warrior on the pitch.
“You can see that, throwing himself into tackles, putting his body on the line.
“I genuinely do not know what is wrong with him. It was a shock to me when Ange came out and said that they were going to wrap him in cotton wool and his season is over, especially when they have got a final coming up.
“I am sure he would have wanted to play in that but there is obviously a problem they want to get fixed before the new season. But you definitely need players like him in your squad.“
