Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has opened up on his 'great relationship' with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The legendary Portuguese forward has been a close friend of Schmeichel for a while, and the pair are due to face off tomorrow evening, in a match which has significant implications for Scotland.
Indeed, the loser of the UEFA Nations League quarter-final between Portugal and Denmark falls into the Scots' 2026 World Cup qualifying group.

The sides play out the first leg tomorrow evening, and Schmeichel has been speaking about his friendship with Ronaldo to Danish media pre-match: "I remember when my father was at Sporting, there was talk of someone coming up who was special," he said.
"It was Ronaldo, of course, and I've played against him a few times for the national team. We've lived in the same town, and our children have gone to school together. He's a nice guy who's open and friendly.
"He is one of the best footballers who's ever lived, and I always look forward to meeting someone like him.
"I have a great relationship with him, but hopefully, it won't be so good tomorrow!"
Schmeichel will likely register his 112th Danish cap tomorrow as Portugal make the trip to Copenhagen.
The veteran has been a stalwart for his country over the years and will do well to keep out the equally ageing Ronaldo, who has scored 135 goals in 216 appearances in the red and green of his nation.
