Celtic remain alive and kicking in this season's Champions League despite defeat to Bayern Munich last night, although attention is already turning to what may lie in store for Brendan Rodgers' men on the continent in 2025/26.
Unlike in previous seasons, should the Parkhead side win the Scottish Premiership this campaign, they will have to go through a round of qualifiers to reach the promised land of European football's premier club competition next term.
They are due to enter at the playoff round, and according to 'Football Rankings' on X, they will be seeded in the 'Champions path'.
It is currently projected, therefore, that Celtic could face a two-legged tie against one of FC Basel, Qarabag, Slovan Bratislava, Ludogorets Razgrad, or Sturm Graz as they aim to qualify for the Champions League for what would be the third season running.

Although Rodgers' men lost to Bayern last night, Daizen Maeda's instinctive header provides them with a beacon of hope heading to Bavaria for the second leg of the tie next Tuesday.
Before then, though, the Parkhead side must negotiate a home game against Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.
