Celtic midfielder Arne Engels is approaching tonight's UEFA Champions League knockout round play-off second leg against Bayern Munich with optimism.
The Hoops have never beaten Bayern in a competitive match, who haven't lost in their last 20 European home matches.
But with Celtic arriving at the iconic Allianz Arena in Munich 2-1 down from the first leg, Engels knows his team need to start on a positive note and try hurt their German opponents.
“Everyone is really excited, everyone is ready and knows what's coming towards them. We can’t wait to start the game and hopefully get a result here,” Celtic’s big money summer recruit said.

“We know that we are also able to play a lot of things against them and hurt them. You saw that, especially in the first minute, that we can really hurt them really quickly.
“It’s up to us to keep on doing the same things that we always do, and try to do even better than that - and then, hopefully, the result comes with it.
"It's a really big stadium with a lot of people inside, but maybe it's not like Celtic Park I would say. It's a nice stadium where you can play. The atmosphere will be there and it will be a big game for them also, it's Champions League. It will be a good atmosphere but not like it was at home."
