Celtic might be dominating the Scottish football landscape as it stands - but they are still expected to add new additions to bolster their squad when the January transfer window opens.
Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has emerged as a potential target for Celtic, with suggestions that he would be keen on a return to the reigning Scottish Premiership champions.
Tierney, who rose through the ranks at Celtic, made 170 first team appearances before joining Arsenal in a highly anticipated transfer over five years ago.
However, it appears he may be on the verge of leaving the Gunners, as the English Premier League club has chosen not to activate an extension option in his contract.
This development means that the 27-year-old could depart the Emirates Stadium for free next summer, and starting January 1, he will be eligible to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any interest parties outside of England.
Former Celtic striker John Hartson believes that signing a player of Tierney's quality would certainly excite the Hoops fan base, but he has expressed a significant concern regarding any potential move.

Asked if he could provide any inside knowledge on Celtic's pursuit of the Scotland defender, Hartson told the Go Radio Football Show: "I have not heard an awful lot. I think there is a lot of work to do to get that one over the line.
"Kieran Tierney - having not played the games that he has - can Celtic get him back and all of a sudden get him playing 40-50 games a year like they used to? I very much doubt it because he has been injury prone.
"Yes he is a fantastic, fantastic player and is one of Celtic's own. He would need to drop massively in wages.
"He will certainly have a number of offers out of contract. Can you imagine the excitement of the fans if he was to come back?"
