Celtic have informed shareholders to expect revenue to be 'significantly higher than market expectations' for the 2021/22 season, as the club released a statement to the London Stock Exchange.
The Hoops enjoyed stunning success on the park by recapturing the Premiership title from rivals Rangers and lifting the Premier Sports Cup as Ange Postecolgou sealed a domestic double in his first season in charge. That league triumph has assured a place in the lucrative Champions League group stages, with the Parkhead side set to mix it with Europe's big guns.
The Scottish champions were also boosted by the return of capacity crowds which helped bring in revenue following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions across the country. Celtic will release a full financial report in mid-September when the summer transfer window slams shut in line with its previously recognised timetable.

A statement read: "Celtic has enjoyed a strong on pitch performance in the 2021/2022 football season and has returned to full capacity spectator attendance following the loosening of the Covid-19 restrictions.
"This means that revenue for the year ended 30 June 2022 will be significantly higher than market expectations, which were formed at a time when the outlook was understandably more cautious as result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Player registration valuations and player trading can and often do materially influence Celtic's financial performance in addition to revenue.
"In this context the summer transfer window is now open and the club intends publish its results for the year ended 30 June 2022 in mid-September 2022 following the closure of the transfer window and in line with its previously recognised timetable."
Postecoglou has already got down to hard work with preparations for the new campaign well underway.
Key man Cameron Carter-Vickers has penned a long-term stay at the club following his hugely successful loan spell from Tottenham while Benjamin Siegrist has been brought in on a four-year contract to provide competition for No1 Joe Hart.
Celtic kick-off the new Premiership campaign with a home clash against Aberdeen at the end of July.
