Celtic predicted XI to face Aberdeen as champions seek title party victory on trophy day at Parkhead

No one quite anticipated Celtic's dominance to stall the way it has since Ange Postecoglou's men sealed their second Premiership title.

A draw with St Mirren coupled with defeats against Hibs and Rangers have left the Hoops winless in their last three outings, with Aberdeen the final side they will face this season.

Barry Robson's men have sealed their European venture next term, and despite the game being a dead rubber, Postecoglou will be desperate to give the fans a day to remember with a victory and a title party in the Glasgow sunshine.

The Aussie is facing a selection issue once again with the defence causing a few headaches, but Alistair Johnston looks to be in contention having returned to training from an ankle injury.

His return would provide comfort with the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness on the near horizon, and he will have to put his faith in Yuki Kobayashi at centre-back despite a couple of ropey displays.

The midfield doesn't pose too many concerns, but Daizen Maeda will be out of action having been sent off against the Hibees for a second bookable offence, presenting a chance for Liel Abada to start with Sead Haksabanovic a injury concern for next week.

Wednesday's defeat saw a highly experimental side, and you get the feeling there will be returns aplenty for some more familiar faces such as Joe Hart, Jota and Kyogo in the starting XI.

It's the last chance to warm up for their Hampden showdown with Caley Thistle, and despite the mismatch between the opposition in quality, it can be guaranteed Postecoglou won't be in the mood for taking it easy in his preparations with the treble at stake.
