Celtic predicted XI for Scottish Cup Final as Hoops look to secure Treble vs Inverness at Hampden

After an incredible season that has seen Celtic lift both the Premiership and the Viaplay Cup, just one more match stands in the way of Ange Postecoglou's men and a famous Treble success.

The Hoops travel to Hampden Park beaming with confidence after the 5-0 thrashing of Aberdeen on the final day of the season, while Inverness have desperately been searching for game time after a month away from competitive action.

But Billy Dodd's men were already facing what looks to be an insurmountable task, with the Parkhead team desperate to end the season in style and seal the club's eighth treble. There had been some nerves running through the Celtic fanbase after a chopped and changed side had a few blips en route to the showpiece later today.

But the thumping victory over Aberdeen brought the best out of the side once again that we have seen so often this term scooping up result after result.

For some, it's another medal to an already impressive collection, while for many, it's the chance to earn a first hold of the famous old trophy, and the team that goes out against Caley Thistle could be as strong as it was last weekend.

The defence barely faced a test against the Dons, and with Alistair Johnston brought off as a precaution, he looks set to be in the back four once again with Tomoki Iwata once again filling the Cameron Carter-Vickers void.

The middle of the park can be expected to stay the same after their fine display in the last Premiership outing of the campaign, while there could be a big call up front.

Daizen Maeda missed the Aberdeen win after his sending off against Hibs, but he is free to face Inverness and could earn an immediate recall to the starting XI.

It's a game that could see Celtic land their 41st Scottish Cup success, and with the way Postecoglou's men have gone about their business this season there would be no surprises if that was to be the case on Saturday.
