Kerr McInroy is looking for a new club after the former Airdrie star rejected a move to Ayr United following time on loan at Somerset Park from Celtic.
The midfielder enjoyed a strong 2021/22 season, first with the Diamonds at League One level, scoring four goals and three assists.
Despite Ian Murray - who is now manager at Championship club Raith Rovers - wanting to extend his loan until May, the Celtic academy product opted for second tier side Ayr.
Again he kicked on over 14 outings but there was still a decision to be made on his long-term future after confirming during his Airdrie loan he'd be leaving the Hoops this summer.
Honest Men boss Lee Bullen wanted to make him a permanent player in Ayrshire but McInroy has opted to move on.
A club statement reads: "The club can confirm that Kerr McInroy will not be returning to Somerset Park next season.
"Following honest and positive discussions, Kerr has clarified that he is pursuing other opportunities and we thank him for his contribution in Black and White."
McInroy has spent time on loan at Dunfermline, Airdrie and Ayr during his time in Glasgow but a new permanent home will await him shortly.
