The damage caused to Celtic Park by Storm Éowyn has been laid bare.
Photos have emerged online showing some of the damages sustained at the stadium of the Scottish Premiership champions as a consequence of today's gale-force winds.
The Met Office issued a red weather warning between 10am and 5pm on Friday, January 24, with the public urged to stay at home because of a danger to life.
Peak winds reached up to 100mph across the central belt of the country, with flying and falling debris posing a major risk.
An amber warning for wind remains in place until 9pm tonight. It is then reduced to yellow, and this is in place until 3pm on Saturday.
Earlier this afternoon, Celtic revealed that tomorrow's game with Dundee is in jeopardy as a result of the severe weather conditions, with damage caused to their stadium.
Pictures show debris lying across seats within the ground itself, with other items strewn across the pitch, while advertisements outside Celtic Park have been torn down due to the extremely strong winds.
A club statement reads: "Unfortunately today's severe weather conditions have caused some damage at Celtic Park. "Our stadium and safety staff are currently unable to fully assess the extent of the damage due to the ongoing extreme conditions. "In light of this and in order that we communicate fully and openly with our fans, in the interests of supporter safety, we are unable to confirm at this stage whether the match tomorrow between Celtic and Dundee (Jan 25) will be able to proceed.
"Of course, we will be doing all we can to ensure that it does. "A full assessment and decision will be made as early as possible tomorrow morning (Saturday) and we will update our supporters as soon as we can. "We thank our supporters sincerely for their understanding."
