Celtic move hot topic warning to top of official matchday advice for Dundee Utd

Ahead of Celtic vs Dundee United this afternoon in the Scottish Premiership, the visitors have reiterated their ongoing pyrotechnics warning – this time at the very top of their matchday advice.

Celtic's matchday advice generally covers a variety of different subjects for supporters attending matches, with everything from bus park details to ticketing and stadium information and more.

The first section of today's (Sunday) matchday advice reads: "The possession and use of fireworks, smoke bombs, firecrackers and all pyrotechnics are absolutely prohibited, due to the serious risk to spectator safety.

"The club and its supporters are rightly proud of our reputation and we encourage all supporters to help foster this reputation at our fixtures.

"Fans without tickets are asked not to attend the stadium.

"As always, safety for the match rests with Dundee United FC and Police Scotland who have the final say on all matters."
